About Me

Reed in Florence

Reed in Florence gardens

I am a production coordinator with a background in retail — merchandising, customer service, and the day-to-day operations that keep things moving on the floor. That foundation shaped the way I think about the fashion industry: with equal attention to product, people, and process. My experience across retail and apparel production has given me a strong interest in product development, particularly the collaboration and detail involved in bringing a product from concept to consumer.

In my current work, I focus on apparel production operations, sample management, factory communication, and the coordination required to keep timelines, orders, and product flow moving efficiently across teams. I'm especially drawn to the space where production, product development, and brand storytelling intersect — where thoughtful design and strong operational systems work together to create meaningful products.

Outside of production, I founded Downstairs Media, an independent multimedia platform covering music, fashion, and culture through writing, interviews, and podcasting. I have also contributed editorial work to Platform Magazine. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Fashion and Textile Management and a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing.
